Start typing in Hindi:FrKeys makes it easy to type in Hindi—in any Windows program—no need for extra fonts or an expensive new version of Word. It makes the keys on your keyboard type their Hindi equivalents. For example, when you press K, the Hindi letter "ka", which has the same sound, appears. This makes typing very easy and quick to pick up.
The different forms of vowels are obtained with easy-to-remember combinations of the Shift, Control and Alt keys. For example, to obtain the form that goes at the start of a word, press Shift with the vowel—just like typing a capital at the start of a word. See some examples of how to type Hindi words in the FrKeys documentation. You can see a fuller explanation here, and the full keyboard layout details here in the FrKeys documentation.
